Feeling Neon + Dreaming of Houses

I felt like capturing a ray from summer yesterday by wearing neon blue and green on a foggy Minnesota Fall day. It helped liven my spirits, so mission accomplished! I found this bright shirt in Goodwill for $3.99 and loved it. I immediately thought of this green skirt and thought they would go well together, bingo! It's the same green color and I just loved the blue pattern on it too! I had a very happy Sabbath, great lesson, time well-spent Skype-ing (this isn't a word, is it?) with family and friends from Miami to New York to Puerto Rico, it was wonderful.
skirt: the limited, button-up: talbots thrifted, shoes: loft thrifted, glasses: guess
After church we drove around a nearby neighborhood we had never passed by before and OH MY WORD, I am IN LOVE with Minnesota Fall and Minnesota Houses!!!! I wish this style of architecture so prevalent in northern states would exist everywhere so that no matter where I end up I could get a house like this! And how gorgeous are those bright yellow & orange Fall trees? Divine. I'm a Miami girl so I'm not used to this. It still shocks me every time. Sighhhhh.
The day ended with some yuca and tostones (yes, we managed to find some in Minnesota!!!) and some sweet Fall deserts celebrating Jamie's birthday!

Happy Sunday!!!
