Flow

I don't know about you but I have this urge inside of me to always want to be in control of a situation and if I don't have control, I worry and panic. It's so hard to give up control! But worry is a faith-killer. Worry works as a wall between trusting God fully with ALL of my circumstances and trusting in myself to be able to fix my own mess.

Jesus, I give up. I surrender all my worries, all my problems, and all my pains. I am taking you up on that offer found in 1 Peter 5:7 and I'm casting all my anxieties on You because I understand and I know that You care for me more than I can comprehend.
 I love you. Amen.

I love you so much.

I can definitely relate to being a worry wart. Worrying is so easy to get caught up in. But, I try to remember that worrying about something is kind of an insult to God. It's sort of like saying, "I don't trust You enough to not worry about this, Lord." But, ultimately God is in control. I have so much peace when I give Him all of my burdens. So, that helps me keep things in perspective. Love the pictures by the way! What a fun day that was!

I agree! I feel bad when I worry because I feel like I'm telling God just that, that I don't trust him enough. But slowly I'm learning to let go of my burdens and let Him take care of them. :)
