As 2012 draws to a close, I am realizing something more and more. I need more of Jesus. It's been a beautiful year, truly. I've been blessed beyond measure, but been so busy too. In the hustle and the bustle of life, I've forgotten about the source that keeps me going--Jesus. I haven't totally forgotten Him, but He hasn't been the priority of my life. I don't want to start 2013 without Jesus; I want to draw near and dear to His heart; I want to yearn for more of Him and be filled with the Word every morning. I want to have a glimpse of His compassion and a cup full of His grace. I need Jesus.
This song explains my thoughts well. May it be the anthem of my life as I start 2013 hand-in-hand with Jesus.
