Goodbye Baytown + Pretty Lace

"Beginnings are usually scary and endings are usually sad, but it's everything in between that makes it all worth living."
Today was our last Sabbath at the Baytown Church. Friday we will be heading back to Minnesota and boy have we got a lot to thank God for this summer. I'm so thankful to God for providing us with a church family everywhere we go. He never fails to bring us to the nicest, most caring people to watch over us while we are away from home. I am so blessed to have met the people at the Baytown Church, made new friends that I will definitely keep in touch with and hopefully see again. God is just so good and I thank Him for that. Tis true, beginnings can be scary and endings are typically sad but the time in between was definitely worth while. Texas is a beautiful place with beautiful people and I am fortunate to have been able to be here this summer.

On a bright note, I love my dress! I've been wanting one of these lace dresses for a while now and was so excited when my momma bought it for me at TJMAXX. Lace is so feminine and delicate, I always feel extra girly when I wear lace.

This backyard is just amazing isn't it? What a gorgeous view of the Houston bridge and the bay. So relaxing...

I've never worn a lace dress before but after seeing several lace dresses featured in posts on your blog, it makes me want to try one.

Beautiful dress! And it's so modest too, I have a hard time finding sleeveless anything that doesn't have super deep arm holes-this is a lovely dress!

Thank you Natasha! I started the day wearing a jean jacket over it, but it was so so hot I just couldn't take it! Anyway, the dress is pretty modest even without the jacket.

Blessings!

Hi Rubi! Thanks so much for the comment on my blog :-) I was looking through yours and it's amazing how similar our interests are! I just LOVE this dress on you and the juxtaposition of the belt. The shoes are darling, too. Where in Minnesota are you? I have family there and visit often!!
